++Editorial:  I am really looking forward to seeing Inside Out!  I have heard over and over about how original it is.  I am really not convinced, though.  “Herman’s Head,” a show from the early ’90s that I and about 6 other people watched for 3 years on the fledgeling Fox network had the exact same premise.  I liked the show.  I think that Pixar will do an even better job with the concept, but I would not call talking, anthropomorphized emotions original.++

  1. Herman’s Head is different. That is set in the brain and is different personalities. This is set in the mind. There is no relationship between things the body does except for sleep. Something like Genius in Herman’s Head is a part of who he is but not an emotion. Herman’s Head characters are affected by sneezes and when he gets hurt. This has no such relationship to anything but emotion, so he might feel sad but not pain. It’s different.

I’ve seen the Herman’s Head argument all over the place (who knew it had so many fans). I think you will find they are extremely different. I went in with exceedingly high expectations and was blown away. I laughed, cried and will probably see it again tomorrow.

    1. Thank you so much! My husband does the news roundup. He will probably reply later. My son does some articles and I usually do the money saving ones and the resorts ones and lately the voice actor ones.
